Thai Tuna Wonton Cups

Thai Tuna Wonton Cups are a bite sized appetizer full of Thai-inspired flavors and spices, as well as hearty, delicious albacore tuna. This savory morsel makes an excellent on-the-go lunch, or the perfect savory party appetizer.

  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 2 (5 oz.) cans Genova Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbs Sriracha
  • 1 tbsp Thai seasoning paste
  • 1/3 cup lime juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 cup chopped cucumber, chopped small
  • 3/4 cup chopped red pepper, chopped small
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion, chopped small
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped fine


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Place wonton wrappers on bottom of small muffin tin, and use water to shape them.
  3. Bake for 3-5 minutes until crispy.
  4. Chop cucumber, red onion, cilantro, and red pepper.
  5. Stir Sriracha and Thai seasoning paste together.
  6. In a medium sized bowl, mix tuna with fish sauce, Sriracha and Thai seasoning paste mixture, lime juice, cucumber, red onion, red pepper, and cilantro.
  7. Stir well to combine.
  8. Taste and season with additional lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  9. Serve by scooping tuna mixture into wonton cups and garnishing with additional cilantro.
