Tuna with Sesame Noodles

A fine festive dish served hot any time. But when it’s sweltering outside, chill out on the inside, and serve these noodles cold. If enjoying cold, add tuna just before serving.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguini pasta
  • 3 cups petite green beans or haricot vert
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1½ tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • ¼ teaspoon hot chili oil
  • 3 (5 ounce) cans Genova Yellowfin Tuna in Olive Oil, drained
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon black and white sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook until just done. Remove from heat and drain.
  2. Meanwhile, bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil over high heat. Add green beans and cook just until tender, about 2 minutes, depending upon size. Remove from heat and drain.
  3. Place soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, sesame oil, canola oil and hot chili oil in a large bowl, whisking to combine. Add pasta and green beans; toss to coat.
  4. Arrange tuna on top and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
